In October 2024, Liselore Frowijn experienced a magical residence in the textile city of Prato, Italy, with the most wonderful team of Lottozero. In their textile laboratory, she created a large group of textile sculptures made of historical upholstery fabrics and a series of jacquard tapestries. For this project, she delved into my continuing research to shape a critical reflection on the perception of women’s bodies as functional carrying objects within our Western societies, drawing inspiration from feminist philosopher Silvia Federici.
